Truck Haul from Commercial Ready Mix Products,
Inc.
 One of the priorities for our truck haul division is to
supply our concrete plants with the raw materials (processed sand and
stone) to meet production demands on a daily basis.
These Winton-based units include ten dump trailers, eight quad-axles, which haul sand and gravel, and
four dry-bulk tankers, which haul cement and flyash.
When the need arises, our trailers and
quad-axles can haul
directly from sand pits or rock quarries to jobsites, which, not only
provides direct service to our customers, but also helps the General Contractor on a project to stay ahead of schedule.
This scenario was demonstrated during construction of the new
Federal Prison facility near Winton, N.C., as unusually wet weather
threatened production, literally, week after week.
Our trucks played a major rescue role by hauling stone and sand
so that roads could be stabilized and pads poured.
Much of the time we were able to haul short distances from our
stockpiles while at other times we hauled directly from the quarry or
from our sand pit.
Our haul units
are of further use when they supply our construction crews with raw
materials for commercial and residential work.
Local customers regularly call for topsoil to go in yards or
gardens and stone for driveways and patios.
We offer delivery or customer pick-up.
As you can readily see our Truck Haul Division, under the
direction of Tim Byrum, is an
integral part of our concrete operation while, at the same time, is
ready and able for a wide-range of other hauling needs.
