of our orders for Southeastern Virginia are
dispatched from one of our four stationary plants, Suffolk, Chesapeake,
Portsmouth, or Franklin. Our Central Dispatch office in Suffolk controls these plants.
Our Central Dispatch staff (Danny Smith, Erik Crawford, and
Brian Houseknechd) utilizes modern software and
multiple computer systems to control orders
and improve customer service. A team of
dispatchers who are constantly tracking and
scheduling your order dispatches all of the 40
trucks in our Virginia market. Computerized
graphical schedule displays and GPS graphical
displays of the truck fleet in every phase of the
workday allow us to get the load to the customer as
promised. Orders are sent electronically to
our four
stationary plants, where
a computerized batching system completes the order, ensuring the
accuracy of the mix.Our Virginia
sales manager for the area is Joe Bradshaw; assisted
by Robert Eley. Each plant manager is a certified
concrete technician. They are assisted by a
quality control staff.
